Sam's History
When Sam Griesbaum made his first comedy appearance at George McKelvey’s Comedy Club in Denver in 1986, he had no idea how far his dreams would take him. Since then he has shared the stage with Tim McGraw, The Statler Brothers, The Oak Ridge Boys, Reba McIntire and many others, and has made numerous television appearances on A&E’s Evening at the Improv, Comedy Central, Showtime, and TNN.
Griesbaum is a story teller who charms and entertains audiences with his unique mannerisms and common sense humorous look at the hazards and frustrations of modern living. He takes inspiration from comedy’s greats… Jonathan Winters, George Carlin, Bill Cosby, Will Rogers and Mark Twain.
Sam is a welcome addition to any venue – a witty, warm opening for a musical performance, the funny interlude at a corporate event, or a solo standup comedy show. His comedy appeals to everyone – young or old.
Sam Griesbaum is a professional with over two decades of experience performing in clubs, at corporate events, on television shows and concert stages; a masterful entertainer, Sam fulfills the needs of any venue and exceeds the expectations of every audience. In fact, Griesbaum has accomplished what few comedians can claim to – he has made his living as a performer for more than twenty years... and continues to do so, entertaining audiences from coast to coast.
When not traveling to perform, Griesbaum resides with his family on the gulf coast of Texas.
